Introduction to Sentencing

Description

The Introduction to Sentencing course is focused on both the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of sentencing records. Key topics covered include:

  • Why sentence records?
  • How long do records need to be kept?
  • Which records authorities can be used?
  • How can records be sentenced?
  • What happens to records after they are sentenced?

In addition to practical advice and tips the course includes exercises using the Administrative Functions Disposal Authority (AFDA).

Please note that this is an updated version of the sentencing training that was previously included in the Introduction to Records Management for the APS course.
