Drawing Together: National Public Art Competition

Drawing Together showcases the artwork of well-known Indigenous artists from across Australia. Highlights include some early works of leading artists, some of which have not previously been on public display and will include a variety of mediums, forms and subjects.

The exhibition marks the 40th anniversary of the 1967 referendum, and is an initiative of the Australian Public Service Commission, the Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, the National Archives of Australia and the National Museum of Australia.

The exhibition coincides with an art competition that explores reconciliation. Artworks shortlisted in the competition will also be on display, 2–29 July 2007.

More information about the exhibition is on the Australian Public Service Commission website.
