
Designed by Federal Capital Commission architects, J Hunter Kirkpatrick and T Robert Casboulte in 1925, the ‘assembly hall’ for the national capital was built in 1927–28.
This photograph, taken in 1927, shows the not-yet-complete Albert Hall with Kaye Street and the bowling green in the foreground.
