Forestry conference delegates at Albert Hall, 1928

Delegates to the 3rd British Empire Forestry Conference in September 1928 pose on the Albert Hall’s north terrace. In the foreground are the tiny plantings for Albert Hall’s landscaped gardens.

The first conference at Albert Hall was opened by Prime Minister Stanley Melbourne Bruce and presided over by head of the Commonwealth Forestry School Charles Lane Poole.
